Common questions.
Do I need to bring my own API keys?
Not at all. Aflik routes through pooled credits by default. If you have keys for Veo, Sora, Runway, ElevenLabs, or Suno, you can connect them in Settings to bypass the per-generation cap.
What counts as a generation?
One render of one shot — a clip up to 8 seconds, or a still, or a vocal line. Edits and re-cuts of existing assets don't count.
Do I keep the rights to my films?
Yes — you own the work. By default, films you publish to Watch are exclusive to Aflik. If you'd rather distribute the same film elsewhere (YouTube, Vimeo, festivals outside our network, your own site), you can opt into non-exclusive at publish time — Aflik then takes a small royalty on revenue earned from those external platforms. Keep a film private and we touch nothing.
Can I pay yearly and cancel?
Yearly saves 10%. Cancel any time and your access continues to the end of the billing period. No refund games.
Why create on Aflik?
Because the film stays yours — completely. No studios. No producers. No directors of any kind sitting between you and your work telling you what to cut, recast, or soften. Your final cut is the final cut. We don't take a development fee, we don't take a "creative" cut, and we don't take a percentage of your name. Aflik exists to ship the film you actually wanted to make and pay you for it — not to launder your vision through a committee.
Doesn't using AI take the humanity out of the work?
Paint doesn't come from humans. Neither do paintbrushes, canvas, cameras, or film stock. They're tools an artist chooses in service of an idea. Generative models are the newest paint, brush, and canvas — the human part (taste, intent, voice, what to leave out) is still what makes a film yours.
