Why Aflik

Every craft of cinema. In one canvas.

Bring your script, your reels, your voice — and combine them with the best of generative AI. Aflik is built around the workflow real filmmakers use.

01 · Write

The page,
then the picture.

Draft screenplays in industry-standard format with an editor that storyboards as you type — generating concept frames the moment a slugline lands.

02 · Direct

A set you
can iterate on.

Cast AI actors, dial lighting, place the camera, drop in your own clips. Re-cut a scene the way an editor would — non-destructively.

03 · Release

One click
to an audience.

Publish as a short, episode, or feature. Aflik's Watch surface is curated — your work plays alongside the best of independent AI cinema.

The Studio

A timeline. A prompt. A whole movie set.

Edit picture, sound, and prompt in the same view. Bring footage you've shot. Generate what you can't.

Aflik is the first place that treats us like filmmakers, not "users". I shot a feature in two weeks — and it actually looks like the film I had in my head.

Questions, answered

Everything to know.

What is Aflik?+
A studio for making AI-native films, and a stage for releasing them. You can watch films made by independent creators, or pick up the tools and make your own. Both happen on the same site, on the same account.
Why create on Aflik?+
Because the film stays yours — completely. No studios. No producers. No directors of any kind sitting between you and your work telling you what to cut, recast, or soften. Your final cut is the final cut. We don't take a development fee, we don't take a "creative" cut, and we don't take a percentage of your name. Aflik exists to ship the film you actually wanted to make and pay you for it — not to launder your vision through a committee.
Doesn't using AI take the humanity out of the work?+
Paint doesn't come from humans. Neither do paintbrushes, canvas, cameras, or film stock. They're tools an artist chooses in service of an idea — and the choice of tool has always been part of the art. Generative models are the newest paint, brush, and canvas. The human part — taste, intent, voice, restraint, the decision of what not to include — is still what makes a film yours. Aflik is a place to use these tools without apology, and without a studio insisting you owe them a piece of what comes out.
Do I need to create films to use Aflik?+
No. If you only want to watch, you'll skip the creator setup at sign-up — we ask which side of the platform you're on, and tune the experience accordingly.
How much does it cost?+
Watching is free, with optional support of creators you follow. Creators get three free releases to start, then choose a plan when they're ready. See plans ›
What does “AI-native cinema” actually mean?+
Aflik is built for films that use AI tools (Veo, Sora, Runway, ElevenLabs, Suno, Claude) as part of the production stack — alongside your own footage, voice, and direction. You bring the vision; the tools speed up the craft. Final cut, royalties, and recognition all stay with you.
Can I bring my own API keys for the AI tools?+
Yes. In Settings → Models you can connect your own API keys for any supported model. If you'd rather not manage keys, Aflik offers managed access at a small markup — toggle between the two anytime.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Plans are month-to-month. No fees, no questions. Your published work stays live unless you choose to take it down.

Cut the
movie in your head.

Or press play on someone else's. Either way, you're one sign-up away.
